The 2020 Subaru Outback Makes Its Big Stage Debut At The New York Auto Show

It is hard to believe that the Subaru Outback first hit the road 25 years ago and has been the go-to adventure SUV for many Springfield drivers. Which makes the arrival of the totally redesigned 2020 Subaru Outback very exciting as it is ready for bigger adventures.

The 2020 Subaru Outback is built on the Subaru Global Platform which uses more high-strength steel for more durable, vibration resistant, quiet, and safe performance. Under the hood of the 2020 Outback are two new BOXER engines that are more powerful, more efficient, and can now tow up to 3,500 lbs. The new 2.5L four-cylinder BOXER engine generates 182 horsepower and gets up to 33 highway mpg. For more powerful performance the Outback will once again feature a turbocharged BOXER engine with 260 horsepower. One thing that will never change about the Outback's performance is standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive for traction and control no matter where the road may go.

The 2020 Outback is rough, rugged, and bigger than the previous model. The exterior design will turn heads all over Beavercreek with defined wheel wells and body lines, LED headlights, and an athletic front fascia. While inside the 2020 Outback is a refined, incredibly comfortable, and spacious interior with 109 cubic feet of seating for five with 75.6 cubic feet of maximum cargo space. Other exciting changes that the 2020 Outback will offer include 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity, Subaru DriverFocus Distracted Driver Mitigation System, and new Lane Centering as part of EyeSight Driver Assist Technology.

Everyone here at Wagner Subaru can't wait for the 2020 Outback to arrive and we will keep Fairborn drivers informed so they can come down to the dealership for a firsthand look at the most adventurous Outback yet.
